    Electrical nightmare

Pennies aren't the problem! It's getting someone to do the job. It seems that the auto electricians round my way are lost if they can't plug a computer into it

    Electrical nightmare

Just to put this one to bed, I've decided(after looking at wiring diagrams and reading through previous threads on here) that electrics are not for me. The search continues for someone local to do the work for me. Thanks for all the replies

    Electrical nightmare

Alright guys, My 110 is off the road! Wiring loom has melted and to be honest it wasn't good 17yrs ago when I bought it. My 110 is a 1986 with a 200tdi defender conversion! Arb links inverted

Thanks Phill, I've unbolted the arb brackets and held them forward to correspond with the measurement given by JamesMartin and the links look to be in the same place as your diagram. That will do for me! Cheers Paul

    Arb links inverted

Is there an optimal position for the links when the truck ìs unloaded? Should they be straight up and down or maybe at a 90 degree angle to the arb?? Cheers Paul

    Arb links inverted

400mm would be enough to do both sides but it needs to be 70mm wide! All I can find on eBay that's 70mm wide is 10mm thick. I reckon that should be enough! What's your thoughts? Cheers Paul P.s Thought I should mention the flat bar will over hang the original bracket by about 60mm.

    Arb links inverted

Hi, not sure, they look like they were fitted before the chassis was galved! Cheers Paul

    Arb links inverted

I was thinking about that but wasn't sure if there would be enough strength at the front fixing point without welding a brace back to the galv bracket, thus weakening the galv. What do you think? Thanks for the reply! Cheers Paul

    Arb links inverted

Hi lynall sorry for the delay. Yes the chassis is galv. I've decided to extend the arb rather than start messing the galv up. Cheers Paul
