Hello again i have a 2000 TD5 90 and it has recently started to make a major knocking noise when at full lock at really low speed (when parking) and have no idea what it could be ive been underneath when it does it but i cant see anything obvious any ideas???:confused:

Hello i have a 2000 defender td5 and have noticed when i turn the engine off the Oil Rotor Filter continues to spin and makes a winding noise, whats wrong is it just worn or is it the oil? its also been remapped. Cheers :confused:

Hello after checking our sunspension on our discovery we have found that the compressor has burnt out, has anyone had there ECU programmed to remove the air sunspension function? how much does this cost? Cheers Joe:)

Hello i have just taken a close look at the air sunspension system on my discovery TD5 and it would appear that the compressor to raise the sunspension isn't working at all, i have checked the fuses and it is blowing the 30 Amp fuse straight away, does anyone have any ideas....HELP! thank you in...

Hello, i have just purchased a TD5 diso with a clutch fault, the clutch only seems to bite at the very bottom, this is also making all gears hard to engage, i have bled the system and there was a slight improvement, i then swapped the slave cylinder and it is as bad as it was in the first place...

I have been running Insa turbo special tracks 265/75R16 on my 90 and they make alot of noise and make it handle terrible. i am thinking of goin for BF Goodrich AT or General Grabbers AT2. But i am unsure about what size as it is lifted 2'' and has spacers i want it to look decent but not handly...

Hello are the defender 300 props the same length as a 2.5 N/A 90 props? If not which are longer which is shorter????? Joe:confused:

Hello weve just purchased a 300 TDI engine to put in our early 90 and it is fiited with a EGR valve and therefore a EGR valve control unit. will the engine run without this being plugged in? whats the actual point of an EGR valve. I know its a exhaust recirculation valve but what is its use...

could anyone possibly give us some dimensions of where there engine mounts are on the chassis on a 300 tdi defender. Also the dimensions of the gearbox mounts would be a massive help. some pictures od the mountings would be a great help. Cheers Joe:) P.S Any problems that anyone have...

Hi we have bought some Insa Turbo Special Track Tyres 265/75/R16 for our freestyle rims and they catch the radius arms at full lock. Will 30mm wheel spacers stop this? we have wound out the steering stops but the turning circle is too poor. With wheel spacers will the tyres catch anything else...

Ever since rebuilding our 200tdi discovery engine fitted to a defender, its nevver ran correctly a bit low on power and rough idling. we loosened the injector pipes on each injector whilst it was running and noticed the first injector makes no difference to the running of the engine if loosened...
