You sure you,ve checked the pump fiters, as theirs one inside the pump body. You have to remove plastic casing to get to it. As for fitting once you,pushed it into place get someone to hold it in place with a long srewy, then you can **** about with the lockring, still got to swear though.

listen to the big lad. Don,t rush at the first one. Get a good one and you,le love it I,ve got a 99 td5 with 150 on the clock, spot on never misses a beat, going to underseal the chassis before winter its never been done yet so not bad for a 13 year old car. So the wiltshire lad is wrong there...

More likely its hydrauliced so no quick fix:(

sounds like one of you,re pots is filling up with diesel

mate of mine had same problem with new bags. clips that hold bags on not fitted properly if they refuse warrenty make sure you get the old bags back. Take the clip of, you have to drill it and split. if it,s assembled wrong you can clearly see were the clip has missed the bag

my thoughts would be low fuel pressure, dicky pressure regulator. thats possibly why you can,t determin a specific injector :confused:

the filters in the pump can cause this. There are 2 one is on the out side and one inside the pump you have to remove the pump casing with care to do the 2nd one this cured mine.

I had the same sounding clatter after changing my rotory filter. After a 10 mile drive bad rattle took me hours to detect the fault. There was a dodgy batch of filters made. Found that the filter had expanded and was hitting the inside of the housing the more you revved the louder it got. Just...
