Windscreen seal - oem or genuine?

I went for a non genuine and the quality is superb, it was ridiculously cheap only £7.49 on eBay from Recoveryuk4x4, so you’d think it wouldn’t be very good but it’s been absolutely perfect, and all 4 holes in perfect alignment, but in reality it’s such an easy swap if anything happens so I’m...

    Worst tool you've ever bought?

Too many to mention but don’t buy any cheap mole grips no matter how good value they seem, they usually end up making the job a lot worse!

    Fitting mud flaps

Like Lynall said, I had the same issue, google a YouTube vid called how to insert a rivnut without a dedicated tool, get a selection of rivnuts (hexagonal type) from Screwfix, insert the right size one and any matching m bolt (the right length) will finish the job off, I used the black ones to...

Tips for removing rusty floor screws

I drilled mine out it was easy enough. You'll find the ones at the front and side near the gearbox tunnel are into square orange plastic captive nuts (part number CZA4705L) which I replaced for a few quid for a pack or two (always useful) and the ones nearest the door are just nuts and bolts...

    2004 90 Hard Top Storage

I guess that’s why I favour a thinner box at the side rather than something that fits over the top, seems like quite a bit of useful space there which I hadn’t really considered before

    2004 90 Hard Top Storage

Thanks, sounds like a plan. It’s really just for keeping stuff in that you don’t want rolling around the tub, a bit like a glove box, first aid kit, manual, spares, flask and walking gear when we go out, sat nav when not in use etc. Main problem is the battery is under the passenger seat, ECU...
