Car Aerial

l need to drill my wing to fit a genuine aerial, however l want to install it in the correct as done in the factory. Can someone tell me how far forward off the bulkhead the and how far of the edge of the wing seam the arial needs to be.

I would appreciate it if some one could measure this, l just need to know the dimensions to the edge of the antenna.

Hi Andy - just took off my chequer plate et voila so I've uploaded a few pics with dimensions on for you - hope it helps - and yes I do need some welding on that bulkhead.... yet another job...

I take it that that's 7 1/2" from the bulkhead and 2 1/2" from the fold to the centre of the 1" hole?
No idear what that is in that there forrin metrik hated stuff

Beware of drilling the hole if you have a 300tdi/Td5 with a snorkel - the antenna body gets in the way of the plumbing (but not the standard side air intake duct). Needs to be 8.5inches to clear
