TD5 rear fuel filter head

Not had a TD5 before so was a bit shocked to see the state of the rear fuel filter mounted on offside chassis. Looks like the head has corroded away and that the two bolts will be hard to budge which hold it on. Any suggestions and what part number do I need please?

It is a silly place to put the filter.

It needs a clean up (wire brush/wheel) and will probably be in a similar condition to yours....

Regards removing ... a bit of heat on the bolts after you have tried with a correctly sized 6 point socket and an impact gun.

Thanks both, Great advice, bolts free! Do the fuel lines just pull off the brass pipes? Don't want to mess until i have the replacement to hand!

Yes there are clips or the clip is integral and needs pulling back away from the body iirc then the pipes can be released with a pull and a wiggle, when you undo the brass pipe assemblies watch out for the reed filter and internal bits on a couple of the outlet pipes, check out the configuration on LR Workshop site or tech manual
