    Faulty MAF?

Hi all, I seem to ask more questions than I answer so sorry for that; I'm still an enthusiastic novice. Anyway, my disco 2 TD5 was very sluggish. I had read about the MAF sensor and waste gate fixes and did both. I changed the MAF to a HAAS one from eurocarparts and freed up the waste gate. The...

Disco 2 disgraces itself at Peterborough.

As others have said, Dunlop bags are good. They aren't difficult to fit on the disco thankfully.

Disco 2 Broke down nut managed to limp home 150 miles

Could be air. For a start have you tried this: put ignition into 2nd click for 40 seconds. Turn off. Turn ignition to second place again for 30 seconds. Start engine with foot fully on the accelerator. Repeat... May help...and worth a go...

Have you checked the ride height sensor? Mine snapped and left a wonky disco...easy fix though...

    Fuel leak td5...please help

Hi, Just an update to say that the leak is fixed. It was the hose. It had rubbed through. Had literally a pin sized hole in it. Cut it down and re-attached....seems to work well for now....Thanks again for your help all :)

    Hey everyone!

I spent about 2 months looking for a good D2. They are out there...you just need to land on one with minimal rust to the rear....to be honest, by the time you have modded the freelander you could have bought a decent disco

    Hey everyone!

Hi, welcome to the forum. I have owned a freelander td4 in the past and they are great machines. Is your wife completely against a disco 2? I now have a d2 and, to be honest, it's a much better greenlaner than the freelander. You also have the option of 7 seats and the mpg isn't that much different.

    Fuel leak td5...please help

Thanks again for all the help and kind offer of assistance 1988smithy. I'm determined to sort it for Sunday...it's my 8 year olds birthday and he seems more excited about his mates travelling in the 7 seat disco than he is about the theme park....quite rightly too...future Landy driver ;)

    Fuel leak td5...please help

Hi, The connector was like that when I looked. I'm assuming that this should be attached somewhere around the filter? Thanks for your reply mate, really appreciate it

    Fuel leak td5...please help

Hi, I'm fairly new to the forum so I'm sorry if this has been covered before (had a look but cant find anything). I'm the proud owner of a D2 td5 and slowly becoming more proficient with my mechanics skills (slowly is the operative word). My disco threw an oil hose a couple of weeks ago and had...

Cheers mate. Just had fun with a saggy D2. Thought it was the rear air bag (used to this with the wife's l322) but, happily, is a snapped ride height sensor. Have learnt a lesson....always lube the sensor arm....

    Discovery series 2 es

Hi, have you tried the soapy water on the bags trick? Basically the same when you had a puncture on an bike inner tube when you were a kid. I found a tiny leak on my wife's range rover using it.
