Hi James , I recently posted a thread about the problems I’m having locating the correct adapter/reducer to fit the temperature sender to my replacement head . The one from my old head is to big , the one I require is approx 20 mm in diameter. I wondered if you had any advice on this subject...

Hi Sorry it’s the adapter,or reducer the temperature sender is screwed into , then the reducer screws into the head

Hi Just wondering if anybody could give me an idea of what a garage would charge to replace the crankcase oil seals on my 1988 110 , I need to have the work done and live in France so a rough idea of what I would be paying in the uk might stop me getting ripped off here Cheers

Ok will give that a whirl, the belt feels quite tight , I'll take it off check it and replace it , Thanks for all your help , you guys are helping turn us Land Rover owners into part time mechanics ;)

Hi Just checked under the car white engine running, what's happening us when the steering is turned on full lock either way the pulley wheel in the front with the small belt attached (pas pump??) is slipping causing the squealing and I assume the juddering .if this is the case do I need to add...

Thanks, just a thought, I did adjust the steering box 3 weeks ago , could this be related? Could I over tightened it or something??

Hi thanks for your help, forgive my ingnorance, if I remove the belt and run it on full lock and it's quiet it's the belt , if it continues it's something unrelated to the steering pump??

Hi all I was after some advise on the new noise I have on my 1988 Land Rover 110 It now squeals on full lock in reverse and has started to judder in reverse on full lock too. I read it could be a sign of the power steering pump drive belt needs adjusting/ replacing?? Any advise would be...

Yes I can rock the steering wheel left and right with no movement at the steering wheel, I was told the steering box needs adjusting and thought I'd have a go at it myself, so could do with a step by step guide or some advise if possible Cheers
