Trying to get axles back on the S2 but dont have the locktabs for the brake back plates...putting an order into Paddicks soon but will take ages to get here so whats your thoughts on using locktite instead just want to get it back to a rolling chassis locktite has come on a long way since 59...

Job for tomorrow...the son of the owner of the S2 i'm restoring has bought another 90 but has a terrafirma winch and bumper fitted sooo have to remove it and swap it for the standard 90 bumper off the other 90 to pass the inspection/mot...welcome to Portugal and vehicle rules...

Stripped down an S2 for a rebuild bagged everything... then rebuilt the hub assembly as I took it off to show freind/client the work done at that point realised something wrong...what do you think?...had to remove studs and turn swivels upside down so carriers have drain bolt at the bottom...

Does this look skimable?...I know the ring gear needs replaced but dont want to order that and find cant skim flywheel still got to find a shop here that can do it and cant buy new here... Cheers...

Cant see number in normal place dont know if its been removed vehicle on original 59 year chassis...it's a customers car I'm restoring and found this number stamped above lift pump while cleaning any ideas welcome... Cheers Rob...

S2 tank had 20 odd litres of varnish smelling diesel in it been standing 10yrs plus... What is the best liquid to disolve this gunge...going to put heavy chain in tank and strap to cement mixer and let it spin for a while...TIA...Rob...

Rebuilt door tops on the 101...now have both glass panes sliding on plastic runners...new square pane cut here so neither has glass handle to pull...any help regards glue to use to stick a bit of glass as per original LR...

Been given this 58 SII to get running to either restore here or send back to UK... Originaly UK reg now Portugese.. Might have been petrol now diesel. Not much info on liveret. Chassis number 14600013 Engine type anyone?

Cracked the mirror on my 101 door mirror...before I go to local glass merchant here is it a specific type of reflection size or standard mirror....may have language problem when I go to sort it...any help appreciated.... thanks Rob
