Series 2 Wipers

Stripped down wipers but both fixings different.Have looked on internet but cant find exploded diag to see whats missing seems left side is missing escutchion that right side has and right missing the plate which left has which was on outside of screen.Anyone experience of remanufactured parts on ebay,also both motors different and should they be painted black?...thanks

This may be one for the Series two club site or even series one.

Those motors look fixable. What is the problem with them?

Bench tested both working but there appears to be parts missing from the fixing kit in fact I think bar the threaded rod theres actually only one complete actual kit there...right hand motor cover is a lot different to left...where I´m confused is the left hand motor has a plate you can see in pic that was fitted on the outside of screen rail the right hand has the escutchion that was fitted seen in pic on the outside of screen rail...should they have both on each side escutchion on outside of rail and plate on inside...Ivé seen escutchion on ebay but they dont seem to have the same curved profile as original I have and also threaded rod kit doesnt have the bushes either I can make them and have the rod but not sure how it all should be as had been bodged with washers nuts and epoxy...

So you probably need a 3rd one to make 2 good since there also seem to be 2 types.
