    I dont seem to find anything at all that could cause this, trouble is it only happens when weight is on the vehicle but even at 2mph it will always click at same point, I will have another look at the cv joint and cover again, it's just bloody annoying sounds like a nail in my tyre.

    Well that was weird, I took battery off and on again no change, put into neutral and slid selector back and forth with ignition on and off, did same in low, then back to hi, turned ignition off counted to ten, put foot on brake pedal, ignition on and no m&s, went for a drive, all seems normal again.

    Ah I did wonder if it was the tyre, it has tread but it does look a bit lifeless, well old yes, no cracks but you could be onto something there, I will pop the spare on and see if it stops happening, as for something catching I have jacked up on axle as well as chassis and cannot find anything...

    it doesn't seem to do it as much now after we did the chassis welding and i removed the passenger side sensor arm, i haven't got round to removing the other side yet, but yes it should be set up for coils which would turn it off i suppose?

    mine does this and i have coil springs, whoever did the conversion left the compressor set up as it was. if my compressor is running i just open a door and it shuts up ;)

    Ha I think I am stuffed, I've got a 2003 and reading ab9ut the cdl it won't be fitted, I will however have a look anyway. At least I can cycle to local parts supplier and should be able to fix where I am. Cheers Brian

    Hello peeps, so the front prop rear uj is the one causing my clunking, can I remove the prop and still drive ok, it's on a disco 2 td5 auto, never had an auto with all this electrickery stuff.
