yo, seriously considering changing my TD defender to a 200 tdi, what is a suitable gear box? is it the LT77 or can i put a R380? which would run best? also can you put certain 300tdi parts on so that it kicks more power out? i.e intercooler, exhaust etc? all comments are appreciated cheers...

just bought new alternator, for 1988 defender. taken the old one off , its the same except for the bit where the belt sits. (new one has like a sort of groove where it should go, the old one however has this groove but its got like a sort of fan on it as well). should i take the old one off...
