Freelander 1 ABS, TC and Hill descent warning lights all on

Thanks for the replies. So sorry for the late reply, I didn't realise I'd had any. As it happens I did take the car into the garage as it developed another issue and it turned out there was so much wrong with it that it wasn't worthwhile me getting it repaired this time. I just couldn't...

Freelander 1 ABS, TC and Hill descent warning lights all on

Just done a short journey (less than 3 miles) and the warning lights for the ABS, Traction Control and Hill descent all stayed on all the time. Any ideas what the problem could be and how to fix it please? It's a Freelander 1 X reg. Thanks :)

Hi all, Wonder if anyone can help please? My right brake light blew earlier today and now when I switch my sidelights or headlights on the brake lights (including the middle light) come on and stay on. I've changed the bulb and I can get all the brake lights working but I still have the...

    Nearside rear indicator fault

Thank you. Is there a better alternative to the scotchlok, I've read they aren't very reliable? V-splicing with insulation tape for example?

    Nearside rear indicator fault

Thank you, I have managed to find the part now (new bulb holders for both the indicator and brake light). The only problem I have now is fitting it. Again forgive my lack of knowledge here, but I can't see how to get the blue wire out of this clasp. I'm guessing there's a simple solution...

    Nearside rear indicator fault

Think I've found the problem, the metal connector at the bottom of the bulb holder has completely come away. Looking for a new bulb holder now, forgive my ignorance but what is the exact holder I'm looking for? Is it the double pole like this one...

    Nearside rear indicator fault

I have done a search for this problem and found some answers to a similar problems but haven't found the solution yet so hope you don't mind me asking here. I've never had any experience with fixing things on my cars before but I really like my Freelander and I want to learn how to keep it well...

    nearside rear indicator.

I've tried changing the bulb now but unfortunately it still hasn't worked. The bulb does feel loose in the holder but I tried taping it down to hold it more securely to see if that was the problem but it still wouldn't work. Could it be the relay? If so, is it easy to change myself? I have no...

    nearside rear indicator.

Did you manage to fix the problem? I've got a similar issue with my rear indicator not working. The front flashes faster than usual, as does the light on the dashboard but the rear doesn't come on at all. Want to avoid a garage if I can.

    Hi all

Thank you. Just having a look around now and seen similar problems. (Left rear indicator not working whilst the front flashes double time). Will see if I can sort it myself in the morning. Had so many problems with my previous cars it was getting embarrassing going to the mechanic time and...

    Hi all

Hi everyone, I'd wanted a Land Rover for a while and last May I finally had the opportunity to get one and bought myself an X reg Freelander. I'd heard about them having several problems with reliability but I just took to it and it's been the first car I've ever had that I actually like. I...
