Just recently I have experienced a new rattle from underneath my 1991 200 tdi 90 hardtop. I'm near sure its coming from the handbrake drum. I'll pop the shaft off and remove the drum, possibly to find the cause. Maybe brake shoes, springs, clips etc. Are the culprit. Any suggestions? Cheers.
