lots of rain last week, and lots of funny stuff with the radio and the alarm system activating,
took off the pillar trims at the windscreen, windscreen leaking badly around the sealent
it look like the sealant has failed completely as the water is not just in one spot

radio on disco behaving funny,
earliers the alarm went off while parked in the drive,
about an hour later the radio was comming and on and off on it own ?
waht is going on here?
dose not the clutch share with the brakes and that resevoir is still showing full ?
ACE resevoir is showing full as well
i am out of ideas,
i have cleaned the underside as much as i can and will have to follow bit by bit
i checked that cos it did leak a few years ago - it s fine !
also checked the the transmission oil level it fine -up to fill plug,
took off plug to bell housing and no oil on it.
Yesterday Disco S 2 td5 manual drove 230 miles on return, noticed oil on ground, had a quick look last night and the complete underside is covered in oil, all the way back to the draw-bar
This morning this is the observation:
checked all oil levels, all good
it not engine oil gold in colour...
I got a replacement received unit (2nd hard) and just plugged it into it cable under the roof headlining, but alarm did not work first off, make a few telephone calls and was told to fully bolt it in place to the mountings and operated the fob 2/3 times and lo and behold the unit is now...

today i had a look under and their is a drip of oil at the clutch to gearbox joining - so this could be my oil leak. !!!
I now need to get a local source for MTFto oil,
ok I was wondering if the oil level could be low
I have not had a chance to check with the weather the way it is .

could I be facing a more serious problem?
over the last few days I have noticed that when the gearbox heat up the gear stick get sticky. It is noticable when changing from 5 down to 4 when doing motorway driving for 20/ 30 minutes after 1 or 2 changes seems free again ok again. Clutch seams fine!

Disco series 2, air supenssion on one side lifted to it absolute max, the only way I could get it down was to lossed off the air feed at the compressor to the Air Suspension unit. when engine stated up again it lifted again. So i have now plugged out the comprressor unit and the 2 solenoids...

yes the alarm is working
when the key is turned in the drivers door all doors lock. whould this not indicate that the central locking is working.?
tried the bonnet swt, ingition swt, door open etc no luck,
I locked myself in, unlocked the door and set off the alarm, fob done nothing, had to use the key to stop the alarm !!
have not disconnected the battery as yet -- dont have the radio code.
