Thanks for the replies so far. Mine is a 1990 defender 90, but I know the crossmember has been replaced, possibly with a later version. Am in the process of getting a backing plate made up.

I would like to attach a recovery point to my rear crossmember. I need to know what size bolts I need to attach to the four threaded holes in the centre and/or the two larger lower ones. Any help appreciated! Thanks
