It has had new cap,bottle,head skim,rad,pump,thermostat,even tried bypassing heater,head was pressure tested at line pressure(140psi plus) and at 75 degrees new headbolts.

Had the same problem,took the inspection cover off and found the fuel pump locking ring was undone and the fuel pump was sticking up,just retightened the ring,that was the hard bit without the correct spanner

No,all my discos have been constant 4 wheel drive and brakes have been tested with a decelerometer.

Is it worth leaving sport mode on while towing as it will leave it in each gear a bit longer and in theory make throttle a bit more responsive.
