    P38 Air suspension

Thanks for replying. I left it standing for a couple of hours with the inflation valves attached to prove the air bags were ok, and it didn't move. So i fitted the pipes back in to the valve block, and i was back at square one, vehicle wouldn't rise. I tried to raise the car using the black box...

Tried raising suspension via Black box but no go. Used my emergency valves and suspension raises and stays there. 3rd time in...

    Navocom evolution

Black box deliver very quickly, excellent service if u got a problem. I used Hawkeye, and Lynx, but Nanocom is far superior in my humble opinion.

Stupid and confused about oils

I swear by Castrol GTX, its now 10-40. Europarts normally have it in stock. Early V8's don't like modern oils, i started using it many years ago before i lost my hair !!!

    Air suspension woes

Thanks for the comment Datatek. Would never put coils on any of my P38's. To update u, i have been working on the early Rangies since 1973. I have recycled them, built them from scratch, put combinations of engines and gearboxes in them from Perkins 3 cylinder engines to the best of the jap...

    Air suspension woes

To all those who made derogatory remarks, the kit i made is working perfect, all 4 corners correct ,can lower or rise as i wish. As for the compressor problem, solved that. Wasn't so FECKING stupid after all. And u won't get 175llb pressure direct off compressor !!!! Case closed.

Going to remove valve block, fit a small compressor in there, T piece so i can pump tyres up , and raise suspension...

    P38 to Classic Chassis Swap?

I'm in the process of doing just that, I have a galvanised early chassis, a spare P38 Bodyshell. I will have to extend the chassis, and make a subframe to fit the bodyshell. Going to use the 4.6 engine with a 4 speed auto without all the electronics. The reason I'm doing it is because I love the...

A dash cam for less than £12

I have these cameras to 4 in total, hard wired so they work when I'm away from vehicle. Had some amusing footage of clowns and their driving. Put one on the back window so people who tailgate can see it recording them and they quickly back off. Had no trouble and excellent pics, under a tenner...

    P38 Diagnostics

Hi folks, greetings from Wales. I have been trying to make a decision on purchasing diagnostic equipment for the P38 Models I own a 95 and a 96. I considered the Lynx, but am told by the supplier its dedicated to the vin code, so I would have to buy an extra unlock for my other P38, and I...

    P38 Diagnostics

I did wonder if the motor was in the correct position when put back, I will have to take it back off and reposition it. No smell from any of the ECU's. I got a couple of spare ones, even a spare car which functions properly. There is a guy who has converted one back to non electronic, but I...
