It was worn copper washes in the injectors that was causing the problem, diagnosed by ex Landrover mechanics, so could have wasted money on a new fuel pump with the local BMW/VW garage. Glad we have now found the ex Landrover guys who also charge very reasonably - £90 for the washers.

2002 TD5 - Garage just replaced fuel filter as the car was struggling to start if left overnight. They also mentioned that they thought the fuel pump was noisy. My son has a 2002 Discovery TD5 and wants to replace the original radio cassette with a radio that has an ipod connector. Radio is out and I have attached a photo of the wiring. It doesn't look like an easy job, could Halfords fit a replacement unit and any ideas on best replacement? Thanks.

Unscrewed the allen bolts. Radio free on right hand side but solid on left. Just can't shift it so next stop garage or car audio place.

No slots in top of the face. There is a small hole either side at the bottom of the face that look like they could be screw holes but no screws in them.

Small amount of water on driver and passenger side roof lining above the doors and working in from the windscreen corners. It shouldn't be windscreen as we have just had a new one fitted. I see there is a seal in the roof rail or sunroof?

Manual recommends 28psi on the front and 38psi on the back but the tyres still look a bit flat ie bulging slightly. Is this normal?
