So I was out first thing working in the 1/2 light and heavy snow ! I have indicators again ! So I’m back on the road. It seems the wiper is blowing fuse 3. It now does not seem to be getting power so it might be the relay fir the wipers. I’m back in the road for work and that’s all that was...

Head scratcher of an electrical issue - No rear washer or indicators

Evening all, I've not posted in several years (about 3 i think) as I sold my previous 110. Well I've gone and done it again, and put my self right in it. I've taken ownership of a 1995 300 Tdi Defender 90 CSW with an Ashcroft Auto conversion. I've been on here all day and can't tie my main...

Mobile Storage Systems - Fitting windows guards

Dear all, I've learnt a hell of a lot from reading this forum and don't ask a lot of questions as searching has produced the answers to so many if my problems. I'm not mechanical by profession and my 110 is part transport part hobby. However I've hit a stubbing block and can't find the answer...

    110 Insurance

Yep, I had the same problem. I went via AF in the end after tearing my hair out over A bars and roof racks and originally it being a 9 seater. I was going to take the back seats out myself anyway, Nene did offer when I brought it but then I would not have the option of putting them back as I...

Help to choose a Road Tyre for 16 inch rim

Dear KevinHK, When I got mine they put a matching set of General Grabber TR on my 110 which I think are the original equipment. (it had a miss mash on when I 1st saw her). There is the General Grabber GT which is purely a road tyre as far as I know. Other than that I would pick any of the high...

Help to report a UK trader

Dear All, Just a quick note - Mrs NatoTea checked the bank account today. The £420 has been refunded by the Debit Card company (HBOS). So thats defiantly a route worth going down. This is a nice result for me in a pretty tight time. I've learnt a lot of lessons from this whole experience. I...

HID Spotlight cut-out switch - help needed please

Thankyou redhand for being patient with me I'm very stressed over repairs at the moment and just want her to work properly. Right so I just have to identify where Nene tapped into the high beam feed. I had a look earlier but I'll go out again at 1st light. Cheers OK - If I cant find the tap...

HID Spotlight cut-out switch - help needed please

Dear Marmaduke, Yeah I did wonder about that. I was under the impression (from reading on here) that spots needed to be linked to the main beam for legal reasons. I was sure I just needed to identify the right wire - put a switch in that wire and attach it back on the relay. But it seems I...

HID Spotlight cut-out switch - help needed please

Thanks Redhand, Yes I appreciate there are lots of threads on how to do it from scratch. I really have tried to understand them. However its already wired in, Nene did that. They omitted the switch. I'm trying to reverse engineer what they did, and I don't think it matches what you described...
