Hi all. I'm replacing the a frame ball joint and it's all apart and the bracket is now swinging just attached to the strut. My question is how I remove the Bracket from the strut? Thanks

In an attempt to fix an eathing problem I want to fit an earth strap from the battery directly to the starter motor. Can anyone tell be the size connector I need to use for one of the bolts that holds the starter motor on? I'm trying to avoid the job taking 2 lots of time up instead of 1...

Thanks Ian, I guessed it may be fuel related but then wondered about about mechanical fuel pumps? I need to check the earth strap from the block tonight and might add a new one then see what happens!

Hi All, currently trying to fix a starting problem (Fast Clicking but nothing else) and it had me thinking. It's probably simple but..... The starter motor works on the bench, positive to the thread and spade connector. I've refitted the starter, cleaned everything up. Positives all connected...

Also the starter is just earthed by being attached to the block. Should it have an additional earth?

Hi All, Back on this again after fixing other bits! Took the starter off tonight and it works fine on the bench. Ignition switch is all wired in properly. Is there a relay somewhere I can try changing? If so where? Thanks. Wes

One of the possible issues is in the switch itself so bypassing it should tell tell me either way. Thanks all!

If I put brown to red and white should the starter turn?

Hi All, Trying to fix a starting problem. Pulled the ignition switch off and it looks like this. I'm assuming the missing wire could be my problem? Any idea what colour it is and if it's likely to be the problem? Doe the rest of them look correct too? Thanks all! Wes
