    Vanishing coolant

I have a Td5 90 which has recently had a new expansion bottle, water pump and hoses. The tank is filled to the correct level when cold but after every journey the coolant level drops. There is no evidence of a leak, the vehicle has been on the ramp at a local garage , engine running, which...

    Power spring

I recently had an LOF Power Spring fitted to my 90. Whilst it is easier to depress the clutch when it's released it comes up very quickly needing care not to stall. Has anybody else had this problem? Can the clutch pedal be adjusted to make if less fierce?

    Rear door wanted

Hi, I have recently purchased a 1987 Ninety which requires a new rear door. I've tried a number of the well known suppliers without success. I'd very much appreciate any help as to where I could possibly source the door. Many thanks.

    P38 rear light clusters

A few weeks ago I kept getting the message that the left hand brake bulb had failed when it had not. Before I got the time to change the bulb the battery packed in. New battery, no more error message. Same bulb.

    P38A Key Fob

Hi, I have 2000 2.5 DSE. New car battery fitted today, drove away but when I parked up the fob would not lock the car. No time to fiddle about so locked with key. Returned to car a few hours later and unlocked it with the remote! Locked/unlocked a few times since and everything seems ok, but...

P38A Are P38's the new Classic

One of the classic car magazines earlier this year said the P38 was a car to buy in 2016. Their reason was that good Classics are becoming hard to find, and fetching serious money. I think well kept examples with not too many miles will gradually appreciate in value.

    P38A Colour coding door handles

I fitted a chrome set to my Blenheim Silver DSE a few weeks ago as the door handles were peeling from a previous owners attempt at colour coding. Fix in 5 minutes, perfect fit and they look good.

    Classic or L322?

Classic. Find a good (reasonably) rust free example for the right money, look after it and you won't lose. Interestingly the classic car magazine Octane tipped the P38 as one of their 10 cars to buy this year. Reason being that good Classics becoming hard to find with pricing to match.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Fitted chrome door handle covers to my 2.5 DSE. The previous owner had tried painting them to match the bodywork and the paint was peeling. Handles now match the wing mirrors.

    P38A Brake fluid level

Recently purchased a 2.5 DSE and noticed that the brake fluid level was above the max. Drained off about 200ml excess to maximum on reservoir. Started engine and noticed that level had gone down to below the minimum. Put back exactly what had been siphoned off, but level only returned to...

    P38A Good to be back

Two years ago my 4.6 hit black ice and sadly had to be written off. Ever since I've prattled on about getting another so much that my wife got completely brassed. Last week she came home and said she'd seen what looked like a nice one at a local dealer and did I fancy going to see it. It turned...

    RX8 seats

Just bought a 2010 Defender 90 SWB. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the seats from a Mazda RX8 will fit. Does anyone know if this is correct?

    Octane rating

I have a 1999 4.6. The owners manual says that using petrol with an octane rating of more than 95 RON will not increase performance or economy. This was written 14 years ago, and I ask if this is still the case for the modern high octane fuels. Has anyone seen any improvement when using 97 RON...
