Searching for Northwest based independent Range Rover specialist

Good evening all,

I own a 2002 L322 which continues to be a fantastic vehicle, as such I am wanting to find a good independent specialist locally to me in the Northwest of England, ideally a specialist who has good familiarity with the early L322's

Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly received!

Were exactly in north west. Key motors in Leyland are supposed to be ok. There is one in Preston that my lad uses but don't know the name.

I have used K Motors in Leyland for my RR - repairs and servicing - and have no complaints

I live in Liverpool and have a l322 on a 03 I use LR Centre based by John Lennon airport

:welcome2: hi , where abouts are you in north west ????????? as there is quite a few top reputable garages who specialize in rangies ,they may be one quite close to you but you need to be more definitive ,,it also saves you money driving miles to find one who as well as being competivly priced you need a top recommended one as there is a lot of cowboys out there who profess to being land-rover efficient but really are billy-bull****ters , trust me ive met them all !!!!!!!! cheers mozz :crazy_driver::crazy_driver:

Independent Land Rover Services

Thanks wammers and mozz really appreciate the pointers! I will buzz them both in the next few days.

Have either of you come across an intermittent problem with the rear doors not opening off the remote key when unlocking the car and then having to lock and unlock several times before it finally opens them?...

hi , ok sounds like boot lock sticking ,easy enough to do takes 15-20 mins . open boot and remove trim liner - next unscrew the lock mechanism i.e. the push button- it comes easily apart in 4 pieces , clean connectors with electrical contact cleaner NOT WD40- leave to dry or use hair dryer to dry .- give the spring a good clean using sandpaper or something abrasive to remove rust or built up crap when clean give it a thin coat of Vaseline and if need give it a little stretch to tighten spring action up . re-connect it all having cleaned every part and put trim back and test a few times ,then all should be ok .cheers mozz

Thanks Mozz, really appreciate the heads up, I've been searching for more of an electrical fault, somewhere in the car!

I am assuming you are referring to what I would call the 'top half of the tailgate/boot' and not the bottom half which folds down in respect of the lock mechanism to take apart?
