P38A Key Fob

Hi, I have 2000 2.5 DSE. New car battery fitted today, drove away but when I parked up the fob would not lock the car. No time to fiddle about so locked with key. Returned to car a few hours later and unlocked it with the remote! Locked/unlocked a few times since and everything seems ok, but notice that indicators now do not flash on locking/unlocking. Any ideas as to why?

Needs to be set in BECM. Battery needs to be disconnected using correct procedure, you have more than likely glitched the BECM and lost the setting.

Yep. I think Wammers has hit it on the head. The becm has altered the settings.
