£900 for my 1990 90 (pre Defender) station wagon, and I'm 18. Anything that was July 1990 onwards, so officially classed as a Defender, tripled the quote. Weird how things work like that!

I finished fitting it today, bar some leak issues with the new oil cooler fittings it went pretty smoothly. Will report on how engine temps are behaving but so far it's quickly gotten to running temperature and stayed there happily.

I'm 60% of the way through fitting a 200TDi radiator and frame to my 19J, seemed the most logical solution.

Jesus wept. £10 delivery is just bloody extortionate?! I guess needs must though. But you definitely didn't have to cut the mounts, just fit a defender specific frame?

Do you know what adapters would be needed mate? Could you possibly link me? And did you have to lower the radiator mounts to fit the 200 rad?

Okay new problem. If I buy a 200tdi radiator, can I unscrew the adapters for the oil cooler, unscrew the adapters from my TD radiator, and screw the TD adapters into the 200tdi radiator?
