Personally I'd say this is way too high a price. I can't see the ad - can't see link anywhere?? I bought my 55 plate TD4 Sport 4.5 years ago for £8.5k. This was from a dealer and immaculate, though had done 65k. So £8k seems way too high - I'd expect Kate Moss on the back seat for this price :)

Think I'll just go for standard passenger tyres. Don't go off road and we ain't seen a snowflake for at least the last 4 years in these parts!!

The problem fixed itself after a few days. I was tearing my hair out and had run out of things to try, and all but given up. Then after just using the radio for a day or so hit the CD button and came back to life. Hopefully yours may do the same Firestar? Was it after a battery dis-connection??

Seems to be mixed reviews of them here as well. The offical ratings aren't bad - scores higher than a lot of the "premium" names: a B for wet grip, and C for fuel economy I took the plunge and now have 4 Nankang Eco Comfort-2 on the beast. First impressions are quite good.

Anyone have experience of Nankang tyres on a TD4? Seem to be mixed reviews from what I can see. Obviously the tyre snobs will say don't touch cheap Chinese sh*t! Hoping to sell the thing soon, never go off road and the thing is too slow to fly round corners. Thanks

Today in my Freelander I let a slow puncture relieve most of the pressure out of one my tyres, resulting in the said tyre destroying itself and there's now metal poking out the side wall. Two new tyres required to fit my 18" Sport rims. Winner!

I had similar experience - changed one injector and bingo ran like a dream for a few days, then the smoke came back worse than ever. Apparently if you replace one injector it can put strain on the remaining older ones and cause them to fail. In the end I had all 4 done and haven't looked back...
