Hi Everyone. First time post so go easy please. Looking at the above and reading the description this thing is the best car on the planet. It has 45,000 miles on the clock and is selling at a £7999. me thinks this is way to high but judging by the description is it worth it. Your comments are appreciated. BTW it's a dealer..........thanks.....dennis.

Before you go and look at any car, private sale, part-ex or dealer refurb, make sure you know what to look for ...

Read the 'Crock of ****' thread :

http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f16/buying-crock-****-if-you-already-have-76002.html

Read the Freelander section on this forum, Facebook, anywhere - to see what problems are available as options and how to fix them and when to walk away laughing ...

Good luck, have fun, but please do your homework first and take a mechanic if you don't 'do' cars ...

Depends on what model it is regarding the spec you get and things like service history and what's been replaced.
You can easily knock a £1000 off a dealer price.

Personally I'd say this is way too high a price. I can't see the ad - can't see link anywhere?? I bought my 55 plate TD4 Sport 4.5 years ago for £8.5k. This was from a dealer and immaculate, though had done 65k. So £8k seems way too high - I'd expect Kate Moss on the back seat for this price :)
