    Noisy Freelander 1

Hoping i can get a bit of advice of where to look? I have a 2003 Freelander TD4, as soon as you start to drive away you get a humming/droning noise from the car, as if a brake is jammed on(It's not), as you get faster the noise is less and over 50 is not that noisy at all. Any help or pointers...

    Propshaft Removed 2002 TD4

Looking for some advice on the following; I have recently purchased a 2002 TD4 3dr Serengeti and the Propshaft is Removed. At this stage I have no idea why, my initial thoughts were that it had simply been faulty and the previous keeper removed it rather than replacing it, however I don't know...

That would make perfect sense, I spent ages looking for somewhere to plug it into late last night but couldn't see anything :) Thanks for the heads up.

I unplugged my MAF as the car was so sluggish and unresponsive, what a difference it made with it off, I have since ordered a new unit and will fit when it arrives this week < fingers Crossed >

    2002 td4 fuel filter

Hi All, I have just picked up a 2002 TD4 Freelander, whilst stripping the air filter housing off to gain access to the MAF sensor I have inadvertently pulled the fuel filter away from whatever hose it should be connected to. Would anyone have a diagram of the fuel lines so as I can put this...

Washer bottle hose pipe not connected - Diagram wanted

I am fairly sure it is a hose and not a breather, it comes from a split from a T, all of the pumps look as if they have a hose attached to each. I have lay under the car and had a look upwards. I don't have Rave, could you point me in the right direction to download?

P38 Conversion Upgrade to L322 front & Rear

You may be right about the bumpers being different. We had a few issues trying to get it to fit, my guys from my bodyshop spent a fair bit of time modifying the end of the bumpers to get a finish, more down to the shape of the bumpers at the end rather than the length of them.

P38 Conversion Upgrade to L322 front & Rear

I had looked at that old thread, i will try contacting him. I have searched everywhere for a site with a decent description to no avail. I am already past the stage of cutting though, and it is really just down to getting the lights, grill and bumper to a good finish. Next job is the...

P38 Conversion Upgrade to L322 front & Rear

IMO it will look much nicer than the original lights, like any new range rover or indeed any Marque you have the choice of upgrades on various parts for the car, its the job i am involved in so see it every day when people spec up cars differently, my P38 is in great condition inside and needs...

P38 Conversion Upgrade to L322 front & Rear

I think you have missed my point, wanting a L322 is not the issue, i cannot justify the cost difference between my P38 and a L322. It is not my daily driver and spends more time in the garage than anything else.

P38 Conversion Upgrade to L322 front & Rear

The cost to convert it not that expensive, i have the advantage of running a large car dealership with my own bodyshop, what i paid for the car and what i have had to spend on the parts to do the conversion is reasonable and a damn sight cheaper than a £6k L322. I spent ages looking for the...

P38 Conversion Upgrade to L322 front & Rear

I am in the process of changing the front and rear end on my P38 and replacing with L322 bumpers and lights. I know that there will be a lot of people commenting on this telling me i shouldn't do it for various reasons, but each to their own and all that. I have all the lights bumpers etc...
