But why do you want the front of a L322 on your P38? Sorry mate I'm not trying to be obtuse but I just can't see the point? If it's your special Sunday car why ruin it by grafting on parts designed for a completely different vehicle?

IMO it will look much nicer than the original lights, like any new range rover or indeed any Marque you have the choice of upgrades on various parts for the car, its the job i am involved in so see it every day when people spec up cars differently, my P38 is in great condition inside and needs very little outside, it is just down to personal taste, i love the car but would prefer the newer lights and bumpers on.

Just google P38 with L322 upgrades.....you will find a multitude of images showing goggle eyed P38's (i feel sad for them). The L322 lights are just way too big.
I love to see a mint unmolested P38 on the road which is quite a rare thing especially compared to the huge number of L322's about.

Early ones can be had for 6k. If you think that's cheap, you should see what they go for in the trade and at auctions!
I know im in the motortrade, remember pay cheap pay twice & as for auctions fellow l322 owners on here will agree you woundnt touch one with a barge-pole unless you gave it a thorough test drive & inspection first cause theres that much c**p out there people are trying to offload because they cant afford the upkeep, so when they hear a creaky susp leg (£300) or gearbox starts having issues(£2000) they simply p/x,trade,auction or sell it on the cheap, afterall you can buy a fully roadworthy p38 with t&t for the same price a a l322 costs to have a recon gearbox:amen::focus:

Well despite posting i have had not a lot of luck with video's or images really, i have searched the web but not a lot out there that really helps.
However it is all underway and hopefully will see it finished soon....

Fair play to you, you know what you want.... even in the face of opposition.
Quite commendable IMO, maybe a gold wrap as the final icing?

Personally,i'd put Evoque lights on it, now that would get some looks....

the thing is the L322 lights are way too big for the front of the p38..

get yourself an L322 then you can upgrade all the way to 2012 with it still looking like a genuine model :)

Old thread here, guy might still be around though not many posts.

I know there is a site somewhere with a description, as I read it, seemed like a huge amount of cutting was involved.

Why has no one converted an L322 to P38 looks, anyone?:)

I had looked at that old thread, i will try contacting him.

I have searched everywhere for a site with a decent description to no avail.

I am already past the stage of cutting though, and it is really just down to getting the lights, grill and bumper to a good finish.

Next job is the rear lights...............

Ahhhh...the chant of many a L322 owner.

Why not just respect the vintage of the car you decided to buy, instead of trying to impress the neighbours with the 'new car'????
