    Brake vacuum hose

Hi had a quick look, not sure if the part numbers are LR, but it is simple enough to use. Click open catalogue, the L322, the chassis all you need for the brake servo and pipe work is there.

Come on Guy's Lets give this "seller" a bit of credit, at least he's managed to show the rest of us "How to f**k up a decent Rangie":hysterically_laughi:hysterically_laughi

Never seen one like this !

Looks a bit understated to me:D, Where's the chrome A,B,C, & D posts, the chrome strips on the window rubbers. 40mpg, well that's the computer needs a repair, it obvious the wrong mpg figure, or it spends most of its time in neutral criusing with the engine off. I was thinking about buying...

easiest way to drain p38 fuel tank ?

That would be a good idea but, there is an anti-syphoning device fitted. Also for the "old classictube and spit method" you need to blow first to make sure your not sucking fumes up, great fun if you do end up with a throat full of fumes LOL.

    Screen display

I might be totally wrong, but here it goes. Push the menu button on the centre screen, the look at the menu option for Monitor on/off, if it is set to off the change it to on. If this is right then it's because I was playing with the bells and whistle and found it that the screen lights up but...

    RF reciever

Crikes! what a rip off. I bought one from Island 4x4 about 2 years ago for £167, but you're right they don't do them anymore. What a pain.

    Air suspension fault

Hi All Hippo came out to me this morning and hooked up the Rangie. Bad news compressor pump is tied and front air bags are passing their sell by date. Just been pricing up the parts, Island 4x4 are doing the struts as an on line offer, they are Dunlop at £183 ex vat, that works out at...

    Air suspension fault

Hi Saint.V8 Just tried the battery disconnection, no good, except I now have the message centre alternating between "air susp inactive" and "HDC inactive" Checked both ride height sensors nothing untoward there, just about to remove the wing shields but rain has stopped play. Hippo...

    Air suspension fault

Hi Saint V8 Thanks for your reply I'm going to sound a bit thick here, when you say it registers a soft fault, does this mean a compressor pump etc. But I will do the disconnect battery this afternoon first and have a look at both front air bags even though I couldn't hear an air leak on...

    Air suspension fault

Thanks for the replies both, I'm going to try the battery disconnection first. Data, not sure about the air bag, couldn't hear any air escaping, but I won't rule it out. Hippo, I may take you up on your offer if all else fails. Thanks both. Alan

    Air suspension fault

Hi All, Google this fault on here and came across all the problems/issues that everyone has had with their own air suspension. I've seen V8 Saint's posting which in parts relates to my issue, so here goes my problem. 2003 TD6, normal ride height and hold lights both on, I understand this...

    Taking the plunge

Thanks all, I pick it up on Thursday, then I will get my degree in science to work out all the bits and bobs, especially being that I love to delve under the bonnet. Alan

    Taking the plunge

Hi Martynv8, I know what you mean, I started off with a 3 door classic, and did the Perkins diesel conversion after the V8 had a misfire at 240,000 miles, then moved on to the world of the 4 door classics having owned the good, the bad, and the ugly over the past 23 years. But hey ho that's...

    Taking the plunge

I have been one of those rare P38A owners that haven't had hardly any issues with my 2.5, after 4 years of ownership I have taken the plunge and bought a 2003 L322. When I say I haven't had many issues, my parts replacement so far had been, Discs and pads all round. Track and drag links...

    battery drain

My battery drain saga started about 2 months ago, the battery is 6 months old, no drain issues with the alternator, or any other electrical. So after reading some of the threads here I dived in and changed the RFreceiver, no problems since. Got mine from Island 4x4, cost £169 with VAT, no...

    worth making a decat pipe

I did it on my one of my old V8 classics, but you need to leave the lambardas in place or it will cause ECU issues. You will see a difference in power and an improvement in m.p.g. By taking the cat away you remove a restriction the slows the exit of exhaust gases. MOT does depend on your...

    Anyone know Mike Russell, Anglesey?

Hi Henrik This may be a bit of a long shot, but there is someone on Ebay trading as Anglesey auto parts, who is based at Bodorgan, Anglesey. Looking at his profile he can't have been trading for long only 279 on his score sheet. Hope this helps Alan
