I have used dishwasher tabs followed by diluted citric acid powder ( as used by Merc dealers). Did an ok job but my 6 cylinder block probably needs another go as didn't have a fan or alternator fitted to run for a long time.

Well the series 3 engine is mounted and the gearbox should soon follow it with a series 2a bellhousing to keep the mechanical clutch. As this will be a series 1 pickup with a series 3 engine what extra wiring will I need when ordering a wiring harness? CheersToby

So how do you remove the studs (if I can get the drum off tomorrow as the bloody screws are fixed solid)?

When removing a wheel from my project the whole stud came out rather than the nut coming off. How will I refit a new stud or should i just use the stud/nut combo as it is?

I have ordered poly bushes for the rear chassis but wonder if I have been too hasty as these might repair?
