Evening all, I've been chasing a odd pulsing vibration (oooo er) around my 110's drive chain for a while.. I found play in the front prop and the transfer box output bearing so I've replaced both... It's helped but not solved it. Now I've found a fairly large amount of play at the rear...

evening all, the 110's been on the road for a few weeks now and I've hit my first wiring fault. sometimes when I turn the headlights on the p/side headlight and side light dont come on but the p/side indicators light up! It seems to do it in the wet so I'm susupecting a fault.. and im suspecting...

update:.. she's now all green and the paint has finally hardened. piccy of my baby: just got to refit the snorkle, some more chequer plate and sort out some white paint for the roof (or find a nice clean/tidy smooth roof as mines got two holes in it where someone ran wires out). Total spend...

paint I've used it matt finish... looks good. But.. it's taking ages to dry.. some areas are still really easy to scratch. I'm off to the lakes for a week so hopefully by the time I get back it will have set properlly.

Well.. I now have a half blue and half green landy.. and.. the paint seems to be hardening up nicely (no longer scratches with a finger nail). I think the temperature/humidity definatly had something to do with it still being very soft after the first 24hrs. Thanks for the advice.. patience...

I gave all the panels a good key with an abrasive scrub, primed any areas of bare metal and gave the paint a really good stir... I'm guesing it's just a case of waiting for it to "go off". thanks for the thoughts. J

I've just started to repaint my new 110 in finest nato green (brush and roller job).. first wing done and left for 24hrs to dry... But it still scratches really easily.. Anyone else gone down this route? And how did you deal with it? Or is it just the weather/time.. ie will it harden up?

Good thought.. I'd measured a 90 today and figured they were a little long for what I had in mind. Okay.. anybody got a CSW and fancy measuring the lenth of the rear panels for me?

Just the ticket.. is it/was it yours? If so.. are the roof/panels std 90 stuff or specially shortened ones?

It's not strickly a double cab as it's not got the 4 doors.. just the 2 front doors and 1 door in from the flatbed to give access to the rear seats (just as if it were still a hardtop). If anyone spots any piccies of one thats been done I'd appreciate links. For now I'm content stripping the...

Thats exactly the route I was thinking.. but before I start buying bits I wanted to check to see if it had been done.. and also get a few measurements. On that note.. anyone got a 90 they can measure up? Main question is how long are the side panels from the door to the back?

Evening all, I spotted a S1 V8 recently that had been converted to a kind of "king cab" arrangement by using 88 side panels and roof. leaving about 2ft of open "pick up" at the back... And this has got me thinking about a similar conversion for my 110... Wondered if anyone has already done this?
