Just had the dreaded call that my 300TDI has tin worm in all the usual mounting places and crashed and burned the MoT. Few other little issues (easy fixes) but the welding is a couple of days and I just don't have the time or skill. Engine is good (172k with recent cam belt etc) and auto box...

Ah- this is the one- need a Driver's side for 300tdi. Unless the TD5 is the same (which I doubt)?

Thanks but already done the Google option (inc Famous Four, Paddocks and John Craddock) and it has not come up. It is the single rubber seal which runs horizontal along the top of the door panel where it meets with the window (not the top frame). Still searching!

Hi all, Have a major leak coming in from a large gap in the window seal just behind the rear mirror on the driver's door of my 300tdi. Have had carpets out etc to locate and it is def coming in through the door card (new membrane also being fitted!). Old seal is all corroded at the front...

Thanks for that- rubble bag sounds good. I have a large leak coming through under the door card and have removed the sound proofing (aka large sponge) to dry it. No point in putting it back until door is leak free!

Are these still available? Not sure what the part number or proper term is but need a new one for the driver's door. Can always go for the tape and bin bag option in the short term.... Thanks.

Handbrake was so stuffed with mud that mechanism was jammed. Serious jet-wash followed by adjustment has sorted the issue. Now for the same with the wheels!
