Been priced at £270 no mention of removing or blanking egr valve all he said was the remap will shut off the ecu and make sure it dont open again

The remap specialist i spoke to said the egr valve stays in when he remaps it they just tell the egr valve via remap to close and never to open again does this sound right.

Is there much benefit to remapping it out. Thanks

Evening guys. Thinking of having a remap on my 2.7hse 2008 RRS Spoke to the remap guy he says he can remap the egr valve out without removing it. Does this sound like a good idea and has anyone done this as i spoke to.few owners and they say the egr are prone to problems. Thanks guys

Hi guys got a RRS 2008 having trouble with suspension its only staying at maximum height it wont lower as it says remove obsticle before lowering dont show up any fault codea for some reason. Had new pump recently Thanks guys

Belts and oil pump was done last week along with full service. I have heaed horror stories with the pumps so i got the upgraded one i believe so hopefully be ok. I will get garage to sort it i think as i dont want to end up causing damage.

Also driver seat is memory but passenger side have never worked so not sure on that one. Only owned it for a month

2008 RRS driver seat works fine passenger side dont move at all checked fuses behind glove box cant seem to see one thats blown. Are the switches hard to change do the plastics just pop off or is there screws there. Thanks everyone

So by doing this the RRS will still run its single turbo or would it be using the S type twin turbo

Didnt think you could go from single turbo to twin turbo without changing the ecu and electrics then again im far from a mechanic :)

A guy i know has had a jaguar engine 2.7 fitted into his 2.7 RRS due to crank failire so had to.replace engine just wondering how it fitted if the jag has twin turbo and RRS single.turbo

Hi guys just wondering i have the 2.7 hse RRS on a 2008 i thought it was single turbo but i see on another group the jaguar engines fit the RRS these are also 2.7 but twin turbo is this right. Thanks everyone

I get very little luck so reading the horror stories now iv got it the saying comes into mind prevention is better than cure but i got a feeling my pockets will go dry before i get anywhere near preventing what i read online
