Yup, it was the wiring between the bulb holder and the connectors near the rad. I just replaced the whole bulb holder and wires from my other landy, which is currently being dismantled. Many thanks for all your help guys.:D:D

Ah! that makes sense (about the flasher unit) Do you reck it's most likely to be somewhere between the front light and the spagetti mess of wires behind the dash? Or could it still be somewhere going to the rear?

I'm just in the process of getting my series 3 petrol ready for it's mot and my indicators have started to act up. turn left and everythings okey dokey, but turn right and the rear light comes on permanently and flashes weakly and the front does nowt!. I've checked the front bulb and its ok...

ok mate no worries. Didn't realise they were that cheap, doesn't seem worthwhile keeping mine now lol. Might even treat myself to some scratch free and paint free new ones.:D

just a thought, since i don't know wot a series 2 window consists of, does it have the screwed on strips of ally around the inside? and is it a split windscreen?

I've just put mine back in today, talk about coincidence. I just used the black silicone stuff in tubes. Haven't seen a "proper" seal before, not that that means anything. Anyway i used it before and have had no probs, plus it's cheap .

Ayup I've just done the springs and shocks on my s111, it took 2 days, quite a bit of grinder action and about 3 pints of blood. Get new u bolts etc and just cut off the old ones, i tried for ages to get the old bolts off, don't know why i bothered in the end cos my new springs came with new u...

yeah but. I've done a fair of work to the diesel one, like springs,shocks etc and to be honest i don't like bloody diesels anyway. And if it all goes wrong again a petrol one is much easier to blow up lol

Ayup, Got up extra early this morning, thought i'd clean my landy underneath and clean up the front brakes whilst i wait for the new cylinders. Got it all done took it for a quick test, all was well, got back in it later and it's running really bloody rough with no power and a shed load...
