Hi Stutab I think mine is a 83, but not sure. Age - It is nearly as old as me ! ! Behind my oil filter is two things with wires. My oil preassure dial still works, but my oil temp is dead.

Started off really good with the preload adjustment...... Then stoped dead. I can't get the ball joints off. Any way of doing this without a special tool??????

Hi I've seen a lot of guys put the box for the controls in the engine bay. Then it will be more protected and nobody will see the white cable ties. Only problem is, then you will have to open the bonnet every time you want to use the winch.

Aircon evaporation. Where do you live? Over here we get that a lot if its hot and you use the aircon.

No need for a extra alternator. I have 2 bat's in my P38. Both run off the standard alternator. I also have a 20w solar panel on the roof. The system is split and only link up when the car has started, so you can drain the second batt and the car will still start.

Hi Not sure how to keep it from happening, but you will have to drain the whole tank. Can't think of a way for the water get in except if there is something broken somewhere. Maybe the petrol cap, fuel pump? The fuel pump has a big flange to keep it in position, maybe that is cracked or broken...
