Hi all, I am a little stumped and to be honest confused about how to fix my current issue. I am in the process of fitting a 3.9V8 into my 2.5TD. I have a LT77 from a Disco but dont much fancy the gear lever in between the seats (and the work that goes with it) so i have a couple of options...

Firstly i apologise for the thread if it offends. I am just finishing getting everything together for my TD to 3.9V8 swap in my 90. I have a kit of parts i have assembled but need a sanity check from more wizened members. I have:- 3.9 V8 with EFI and manifolds Flywheel Clutch kit LT77...

I should add. My search didnt find anything but i probably wasnt being clear enough with my parameters. Seans wiring diagram is spot on. I just dont understand what relay i need (sorry). Cheers.

What relays are you running? I've taken a look on RS and are they seriously £40 a pop? I may have gone overboard with ratings :D...at least i bloody hope so.

I was planning 100w to i guess your right about the amps going through a chain. I'll wire individually and tidy the cables up with braid or something. Cheers. p.s thanks Sean. i did search and found nothing!

Maybe a half way house :) The V8 kit looks more substantial having a long flex pipe to the airbox. I could add to this to reach the 200tdi easier than mod the 200tdi to fit a V8.... I think :rolleyes: I reckon thats what i will do. Cheers for the inspiration :)

Currently i have a 200tdi and i want to fit a safari (or similar) snorkal. I plan to in the not to distant future fit a 3.9 V8 and would like to know if it is possible to adjust a safari snorkal to fit a V8? Surely its just a tube from the snorkel to the airbox? and as long as nothing else...

Its nice that some senior members that know it all have such little patience with us newbs hey. I find it on most forums ;) From what i have learnt through searching and asking is that 7 x 16 realistically will take 265, 75 x 16 easily. Any bigger (wider) and you will need wider rims i believe...

I want to fit some wider wheels tyres to my currently stock D90. I have been told i can fit 33 12.5 x 15 without a lift. I fancied 285 75 16 as these are roughly the same Rolling radius at 33" I understand i may need spacers to avoid lock issues but anything else on stock suspension? I dont...

In an ideal world i would love to be able to afford that.. But if it have kit i CAN use (even if i need new springs) i will use it. Will RRC camber corrected radius arms fit for example? Some one must know?
