Safari Snorkel fitment on different lumps

Currently i have a 200tdi and i want to fit a safari (or similar) snorkal.

I plan to in the not to distant future fit a 3.9 V8 and would like to know if it is possible to adjust a safari snorkal to fit a V8?

Surely its just a tube from the snorkel to the airbox? and as long as nothing else clashes i am ok?

I have searched and can see issues with 200tdi to 300tdi versions but wasnt sure if it was easily modded to fit a V8.

I asked Britpart if it was possible to get an answer of "buy a 200tdi now and a V8 later". very helpful

or just not buy a snorkel until youve got a v8

The V8 kit looks more substantial having a long flex pipe to the airbox. I could add to this to reach the 200tdi easier than mod the 200tdi to fit a V8.... I think

I reckon thats what i will do.
