hi no haven't drained the auto oil yet was waiting to see if that was mentioned as possible fault, no noise at all it just stops whole drive train jolts then rolls again cheers

fine i've turned the wheels by hand on both sides atleast 10 times to see if it was brake problem and they dont lock up cheers

update now i have front wheels off ground no prop fitted and prop input shaft removed from ird unit. stated car placed in D and wheels started moving as you would expect, ranging from 3 to 3.5 turns of the front wheels they just stop then start moving again for another 3/3.5 turns...

should have a metal bracket that bolts under the handbrake cable bracket the it screws into that

just filtered the oil and its spotless, only just had car and was purchased with this fault as thought it was ird. oil could of been changed recently i suppose but was bit of oil gunk on drain plug but no metal bits. no signs of metal bits off any of the 3 cogs/splines i can see cheers

hello yes it just stops with a clunk, but i'd say faster prob about 8/10 if really slow dont seem to lock

hello td4 on 2001 y reg just found it has an oil leak and when switched off it runs for about 5 seconds before cutting out, anyone had this issue?? could the leak be linked to the over running, not had chance to look where the leak is from yet but thought i'd ask incase it was linked...

remove the roof and along the right hand side where the roof meets the body is a little switch i think this has a bit of adjustment so may have just slipped a bit.

check the plugs inside boot area on right hand side behind plastic trim, if nothing is working i would check this and see if wires have just been cut. may be a replacement rear door ?????
