td4 intank pump just wondering???

hello

i have an useless td4 pump lying around after just changing mine so was wondering if the motor/pump part can be renewed ???? seems a waste to have to replace all the plastics parts aswel??

there was a thread about using a fiat one back along- don't ask me where, but one of the freelander lot will no doubt remember
