    Clutch Cylinder Thingys

neither really when you look behind the cardboard around the pedals there is a streak of rust which someone suggested that it is the slave cylinder leaking. At least that is what I think he said. Do you think it would be an easy enough job to replace the slave and master cylinders for an...

    Fixing Mud flaps

I understood 'pants' but have no idea about 'J Arthur' :o The brackets seem to be good enough but I think the rubber bit would probably fall off before the bracket breaks. I do think your angle bar would be moe substancial but I tought this would save all sorts of fannying about by me. I...

Insurance Groups - do you understand them?

Hi Buck, I am no expert on this but I would guess that it is a mixture of the better performance and the fact that a 2002 landrover is more desirable than a 1986. I may well be wrong and I am sure I will be told so if I am.

    Fixing Mud flaps

Hi again, On closer inspection it looks more like a thin washer with a spike through the middle holding it to the chassis. I thought Coachbolt at first as well but there is no way to get into it to put a nut on. It is the whole bracket that has fallen off. It is the whole lot that has fallen off...

    Fixing Mud flaps

Hi all, One of my mudflaps has fallen off and I was wondering if anyone knows how they are fixed into the chassis? They seem to be bolted to the body work and it looks like the remaining one has been "nailed" on. I was expect a self tapping screw or something but it has a smooth round head...
