    Hi, Newbie needing P38 advice

Hmmm. When I had a leaking rear air bag only that corner of the car would drop overnight. The rest stayed up?

    Plastic bumper scuff

I noticed yesterday that some kind soul has left a small scuff in the middle of my rear bumper whilst trying to park. Can anyone recommend any scratch/scuff removal product for plastic? If not then I guess a bumper/trim restorer from halfords of similar would probably mask/hide it?

    drivers door not locking

I use mine once a week at most so it's a hobby car really. If I had to use it everyday I reckon it would of met with a box of matches and some petrol a long time ago :D

    drivers door not locking

These cars really are a case of fix one thing and another thing breaks. Anyway, my money is on the motor being burnt out. As Datatek says it's most likely due to your RF Receiver. Make sure you replace this before the lock/latch or else the new one will just burn out again. Good tip is to buy a...

    Bargain Overfinch 630R

But would you rather have that or a nice early L322 with all the toys?

    Bargain Overfinch 630R

Agree that it's a cool car but 7k is way to steep for a P38 regardless of the model.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Retrimmed headlining and pillars in cream look suede material. Things I've learnt doing this (and following the guide found on here). 1) If you attempt this job, don't expect for one second for it to turn out perfectly. 2) Now I know why vehicle trimmers charge a lot of money! Overall it...

    Buying a p38a with problems...?

I'd walk personally. One of the best things about the P38 is the air suspension!

are there ever any club meets or shows?

If it was a P38 club I reckon only half of us would turn up. The other half would have car problems :)

How much could these faults save me

Unless the screw is seized like mine was. If you're not familiar with a P38 then I'd say it takes a day to do it.

Vented brakes worth it or a waste?

Total waste of money. It's a heavy 4x4, not a lightweight sports car!

    Facelift time and new colour!!

Dark Blue is the best. Mine is Oxford Blue and I think it's really nice contrast with cream leather. Had black cars in the past and vowed never again due to the fact they show up every imperfection and are a nightmare to keep clean! However, they do look great when polished up :)

How much could these faults save me

I presume it's right hand drive? In that case, a leak by your left foot in the footwell is more than likely o rings. I did mine last year and it was a pain of a job as the screw holding them in was seized solid. Had to use a screw extractor set but it is possible to do yourself. Pollen filters...

Colour coding grey strip under lights?

Looks good, I'm going to do mine over the bank holiday :)

Colour coding grey strip under lights?

My P38 has a colour coded grill but I've been thinking about painting the grey trim under the headlights (that has the wiper arms for the lights). Has anyone done this and if so can you post a pic? Interested to see how it looks.

Help tracking down correct blend motor.

Cheers, I'll check that. Already used a Nanocom on it but doesn't clear the fault.

Help tracking down correct blend motor.

Quick question, I need to buy a replacement distribution blend motor and there is a company on the bay that offer refurbed individual units. Are they all the same?
