Read all the replies to this and I can't believe how bitter you lot are - must be the results of long-term Range Rover ownership I suppose.
That is a fabulous car for the money - all of the running gear was renewed at 60000 miles so in fact the engine has done 57000 miles - nothing for a chevy - the factory 6.3 small block even has a roller cam so that doesn't even wear out and the TPI (Tuned Port Injection) fuel system is both idiot and bomb-proof.
I would have thought as Range Rover enthusiasts you would at least have appreciated the engineering that went into it.
having driven another example of the type last year I can say it was a truly fantastic car and what LR should have built in the first place instead of inserting a puny strangled 4.6 that couldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding!
