Swapped the top washer to sit with the lip facing up , it doesn't show any air leaks , however it is still dropping at the front.

Can anyone direct me to an illustration of the seal arrangement . I got a feeling that there is a different arrangement for the top washer , according to the arnott assembly video it sits with the lip uppermost

Yeah not really helping me there .i can jack it up but was wanting to find out if I can remove a strut so far to test the connection at the top whilst still under pressure .

So now before this alignment can take place, I have a front air spring going dow , is there a way of removing it to check the pipe fitting under pressure as I suspect it may be that as the bag was a new one last August. Is it possible to leave the suspension at normal height, remove the battery...

Hmm , should have known better , was too keen to bash it out without remembering my last effort 2yrs ago. So what can I do now .The hub and shaft is out , will have to find bigger press and dress up shaft once out.

I am resurrecting this thread to see if anyone has more ideas , got stuck again trying extract the rear shaft to replace the top and bottom bushes. Now I have damaged the end of the shaft and the nut wont go on . I have the whole hub and shaft off but my press is tool small to allow the shaft...

Trying to activate the menu button on the instrument panel , the manual says just press for a 3-5 secs but not happening.The only thing that may be stopping it working could be that a message is trying to tell me I have a trans safe failure would this interfere with normal operations.

Hitting them from outside the hub in is one thing , but getting them drawn back in through the hub was worse. I know that laser do an extraction/puller set , but it’s expensive. Just wandering if there is something more specific out there for the job. Will have a look on Rave

Does anyone know if there is a driveshaft extractor /puller for the Range Rover . I know that when I did the extraction and replacement of the shafts for the ABS repairs , they were a pain in the butt using heavy hammers etc.

Got a new Selector cable from Pentland (local dealer) and there seems to be a change, especially the slide for fixing the cable to a bracket at the gearbox end . Instead of a circular ferrule on rubber , its a much larger rubber circular mount and a nut to clamp it . Has anyone changed the cable...

If I reselect park or hold in place I can start the car , so Can someone explain how I can adjust the cable so that Park is selected in the proper position. It just seems that the lever is slightly out of sync. Meant to say L322 3.0 L
