ok, the reason i ask is because i was sold a Q8 oil, and was told it is the right oil by the suppler who only sells oil and repaires hydrolic pipes (has done all his life). Anyway he told me it was the same spec oil that BMW used when they had landrover (did they ?, before my time mabie ?)Anyway...

Hi all, ok here we go, my mates TD4 is idleing a bit irraticly not bad but is noticeable, he has had the fuel filter changed but has made no diffrence, what do you think, dodge injector ?. Also he has had the cluch master slave done twice in the last year by a garage and is still stugling to get...

Changed crank case, air and pollen filters, and cleaned crap out off inlet manifold, will do the same to wifes one on a dry non snowy day + both oils and filter changes.:)

When you take off the inlet manifold to clean it on the TD4 is it ok to use the same gasket again or should it be replaced ?. Thanks Rab.

Dose enyone Know what size off drain plug key is needed for the rear diff and gearbox, its on a TD4. Thanks RJ75

Cheers for the reply, managed to get it sorted with a heavy hammer :violent: and a can off wd40 and a lot off swearing, boy was she tight, a good spray and hammer then leave it for a hour to soak in, done this routine about 6 or 7 times, now its as good as new, so will drop some lube down there...
