Inlet manifold

When you take off the inlet manifold to clean it on the TD4 is it ok to use the same gasket again or should it be replaced ?.

Clean it and have a look - if it's in good condition it can be used again.

Most everyone has been able to re-use it.

I would change the gasket for all they cost..I've never reused a gasket....

There thick rubber seals, not a gasket. And normally look brand new, so don't need changing.

But any pressed gaskets, I would not re-use.

and it will cost you about £40 for all of the rubber ones

yup re used mine too. nothing wrong if there looking good. just make sure you cover the ports......its a bugger getting bits/sockets/leaves out!!

If they are in good condition, reuse them,they still can do the job.I've done so myself without any problems.:clap2:
