Fitted 50% of my rock sliders today, and blow me don't they look pretty. Also finished putting my steering guard on. Found some pretty impressive areas of rot on my chassis, so looks like I'm going to be breaking hot the welder. Doh!!

Hi all, I'm starting to put some protection on my Fender, starting with a Steering guard and sone rock sliders. The sliders aren't too complicated, a straight forward job. The steering guard on the other hand looks a bit tougher. Any hints or tips to help will be greatly appreciated!!

Never tried it in a Defender, but I used to run my old 406 on 60-40 mix. Only issues I ever found were it plasticising ( softened ) the seals on my fuel filter. Once changed, no probs.! It can happen to any rubber that comes into contact with the new oil/fuel mix, and you may need to check that...
