what do you think and do you think it is worth the price. i put a deposit down on it today so hopefully should be driving it in a week or 2. its got 1 year warrenty,years mot,77825 miles on clock,r reg 2.5,full service history,2 owners,it will be fully serviced before i pick it up.chassis...

mhm i'm aware hand brake isn't on rear wheels. i tried jacking a rear wheel up earlier but when i went to spin it it didn't move,well it moved about an inch then stopped.

cheers guys. mhm i did slacken the adjuster today but it made no difference. i think i will get out there tomorrow and remove rear pads and see if that makes a difference.

i have abit of a problem with my disco 200tdi. it hasn't been used for a couple of weeks and when i went to go out in it i released the hand brake and went to drive but it feels like the rear wheels have to be pulled (sorry about description),the hand brake feels really loose as if the other end...

was out there again yesterday and today.i have stripped interior,spotlights,electric fan,outside front wing panels,rear light cluster,spare wheel and carrier and also noticed more rust.i should hopefully be out there tomorrow with the grinder and removing the body.

cheers mr noisy,i did intend to keep the body where the disco is sitting in the pics and put the rolling chassis in the garage but i've got no way off getting the body off in one go so the plan at the mo is to remove all outer panels,doors and glass then grind off the rest.

this is the sort of thing i had in mind.

as i said previously i got the mot to see how it runs i've had 7 months of driving it and the tax ran out end of march and i didn't want to pay out for tax again. im putting a space frame on it so the shell is not needed but the doors,glass and spot lights will be kept incase anyone needs them.

the whole body shell is going to be grinded up and scrapped but i'll be selling the brand new headlights,bumper,grill,spare wheel carrier and rear seats. todays progress was slow,i just removed snorkle,bumper,grill and new headlights. .

well i bought my 1st disco back in sept 09 with no mot,got it mot'd and it passed with only a few minor points needed doing altho i dont no how it passed as there is rottern sills inner & outer,inner arches and boot floor anyway thought i would use it for a few months to see how the engine runs...

cheers kris i'll prob end up cutting it in pieces as its more managable either by myself or with someone else.already got a fire exstinguisher ready mate to be on the safe side. is there anything else i should look out for. atb lee

jai my motors still off the road and i've decided to remove the whole body and interior and get it to a rolling chassis then i can replace all the bushes,suspension and brakes then treat the chassis,so i've got alot of work ahead of me but not shaw how to remove the body (grind it into pieces...

i havn't really used the other companys mentioned but i always use mm4x4 i have never had trouble ordering or getting parts and the delivery is quick.
