soon to be my new toy

what do you think and do you think it is worth the price.

i put a deposit down on it today so hopefully should be driving it in a week or 2.
its got 1 year warrenty,years mot,77825 miles on clock,r reg 2.5,full service history,2 owners,it will be fully serviced before i pick it up.chassis is sound,no rust on underside but a bit at the rear and its got newish tyres all round.£4500.here's some piccies.

Did you not haggle the price at all?

I think the years warranty is a bonus IF it covers everything and he doesn't bugger you about every time you take it back!

I'd get it straight to a mechanic you trust and get it thoroughly checked, that way he can't claim 'wear and tear' if you've only had it a few days.

Good luck...are you going to use it as a commercial vehicle or private?

it will be for private use mate,we agreed the asking price if he put 12 months tax,warrenty,service and puts a full tank of diesel in.

yes mate the warrenty will cover everything.

Nice mileage. Looks tidy. I have no doubt you could tart it a bit and sell it on for a profit.

What year is it?? The number plate could be worth £250 to £500 minimum.... it looks like an early 300tdi, not a 'J' 200tdi to me on a cherished plate??... 1994- 1996? So the price looks good to me. Could be an ex BT vehicle is it grey?... dont let that plate stay with the dealer.... that will pay for sorting out the paint and lots more

WTF is wrong with your eyes folks?? It is white!! Surely to god you can see that?? Dont start this **** again..

Looks perfectly fine 110 at about the price I would expect for the mileage.

On the plate front ...... its unlikely to have any value. So dont get hung up on that idea.

On the downside the chequer plate at the rear spoils the picture - are they hiding damage?
