Thank you for your info, berg450. I found some US guys used White Shepherd oil stop leak. It seems good for some leaks. I don’t know if anyone has tried it or other sealants. Maybe it’s worth to try.

This is the first change for 15 years or 116k miles. I didn't see anything flow out from the breather pipe at the bulkhead. I got a little seeping from the rear cam of the engine, I need to fix this before cleaning everything. How do I check a blocked breather, then get it cleaned?

Today when I changed T-box oil, only 1.1L (normally 2.1 L) was dumped. Is it likely I-shaft o-ring issue?

I have a very tight fill plug of transfer box of 2004 D2 td5. Since it is small room and the handbrake cable is in the way, it is hard to get swivel wrench, T-bar wrench and UJ wobble socket to do this job. Can anyone recommend a tool? Is it possible to loose handbrake cable for more space. Thanks!

Griff, thank you for your info. If soap water is splashed on the pipe with A/C running, can it detect leaks?

Can it or use with dye to detect leaks?

I did it at ATS Euromaster, I saw they connect their hose to A/C pipe. They told me they can not check and fix it,

When I had my discovery td5 to be regassed for air conditioning in garage, they told me the A/C pipe pressure drops when they test the pipe. Does it mean there is pipe peak or something else is wrong? Where do I start? Thanks!

I observed if engine stops running, the oil begins to drip out. I guess oil pump suck oil up, once it stops running, oil flow down.

I am looking for auto gearbox oil for my 2004 disco. auto ES. Comma always recommends mineral one Dexron II, the manual says Castrol TQ Dextron III, Castrol is expensive for me, I think fully or semi synthetic is better?. I have not changed gearbox oil since. Can anyone recommend one? Thanks! Kai

Thanks Jamesmartin, I made it. The adjuster is under the bracket. Please see pic. To adjust brake, undo the bracket and loose the cable on the lever to get the console out of

I found one in ebay like mine, there is bolt under round base, I can not find the bracket for sale, maybe undo the bracket to access the bolt...

I double checked it, the black rubber sits on fixed round base, there is no way to screw using a wench, a 13mm bolt may be fixing the bracket. I don't know if it is possible to adjust cable under car or maybe remove more under the console.
